spatial relationships

in a tall tree glade
dawn falling from onyx
on a cold hair day
two women stood ear to face
many years upon one face
a cellphone on the other ear
bright delight in one smile
abject misery on the other etched
just two inches away
bright delight always goes farther
said them all, its true
a long arm of futility
on a morning calm and cool
no one talked of black misery
that must be felt to be seen
in the long shadow
of one woman on a morning green

  1. And this one so gentle and careful. By the way Ms MIst, thankyou so much for your review of The Puzzle Box over at Lulu. I appreciate it so much, I cannot express my gratitude.
