grim dungeons

mannequins of a ghost town
wait forever for forever
with layers of swadded hopes
cocooning dying skin
they ask not why must they wait
instead ask why must they not
they wait they wait they wait
as they who must answer
play at life in the courtyard of hope
with form and budding uniform
and a transparent currency exchanger
i’m yet another bringer
of the silence
everyone hates, has
yet hopes for
