to peace

a cauldron of clay
with a warming miniature sea
on a mattress of wood
slow embers beneath
horizon before
imprints of sand
breaking dawn at the shore
all it needs the scene
a little wind to blow
fan the forever flames
burnt the cauldron breaks
boiling water runs free
to damp the raging flame
runs back to the sand
soaks back to the sea
flies back to the wind
to peace
